eastern Regional Championships

The 2005 Skier’s Edge/Molecule F Regional Championships are open to masters competitors from all regions of the USA and Canada. All participants must have a current USSA membership to be eligible for either the Western or Eastern series. In addition to the combined class winners receiving an embroidered jackets signifying their membership on a regional team, each will be granted an automatic slot for entry to the Masters National Championships at Big Sky, Montana, providing they exercise their rights to enter no later than Mar. 10 for Eastern team members. These entries will not count against the members home division Nationals quota.

 

Sugarbush North, Waitsfield, VT

Mar. 3-6, 2005

The Eastern Division will hold this event on the Inverness and Brambles Trails at Sugarbush North.  Entries will be limited to the first 180 valid entrants and must be received by race organizers by Mar. 1.  Entries must include race entry forms for each event and proper payment in the form of a check. Awards parties with race video footage will follow the races on Friday and Saturday.  Super G training on Thursday is recommended.  There will be no training run prior to Friday’s super G race, which will be two runs combined time. The slalom race will include separate courses for the A/B and C/D groups and will be run on the newly widened Bramble adjacent to Inverness. Friday, Mar. 4 - Super G race (2 run), Inverness           10:00 AM start              $50

Saturday, Mar. 5 - Slalom race, Bramble                      9:30 AM start                $45 

Sunday, Mar. 6 – Giant Slalom race, Inverness 9:30AM start                $45
