The 19th Annual Mt. Washington Valley Ski Team Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 22nd, 2007 at the Wentworth Golf Club in Jackson, NH. The proceeds from this event benefit the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Team, which has provided quality ski and race training for the youth of the community since 1982. We are coming off another successful season, where once again our athletes have exceeded all expectations. We hope with your help that we can make this year’s golf tournament as successful as the season
The goal of the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Team program is to provide the highest possible quality training and racing experiences at the lowest possible cost. Ski racing is but one integral part of growing up and, while we provide the finest training and coaching for ski racing, we also strive to provide some of the important foundations of character, sportsmanship, and discipline that will enable our athletes to maximize their potential throughout their lives. An important and unique element to the MWV Ski Team is the opportunity for our young athletes to reach for their goals while remaining at home and continuing their local home, school, and community life. Participation by generous businesses in projects such as the golf tournament helps to contribute toward these goals.
We offer a variety of ways in which you can support our golf tournament. Enclosed you will find all the information for the tournament as well as being a sponsor along with a form to return to the ski team. We are seeking golfers, sponsors, prizes for the winning teams, along with raffle prizes and live auction items. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or just picking up the game you will be sure to enjoy the day. We have men’s, women’s, mixed, and a division for current and former MWV Ski Team members. New this year you can purchase raffle tickets, mulligans, and enter on course contests, all before you even arrive at the tournament.
