Equipment Limits
There has been some confusion regarding FIS limits
on ski length, ski radius, boot stand height, and boot sole thickness.
This should clear it up for you!

USSA equipment regulations document, click here.
For Masters, ski length and sidecut rules
only apply to FIS International Masters races. Women over 60 years and men over 70 years of age are EXEMPT from ski dimension rules in all FIS International Masters races. Boot and binding rules apply to all Masters races and may be enforced at any time. Masters who race in open (non-Masters') races, must comply with all equipment rules in effect for those races.
Length is defined as "unwound
length", ie. the length of the ski if it were flattened.

Boot Height Limits
Boot and binding rules apply to all Masters
races and may be enforced at any time. Ski Boot Height: The maximum height measured from the internal heel sole to outside base of sole, including all hard and soft parts is 45mm for men and women. Note: Current stock boot sole thickness ranges between 40-42 mm, so use caution when modifying boots.
