Pittsfield, VT - Pittsfield is conveniently located between the Middlebury Snow Bowl and Suicide Six races, and is 8 miles north of Killington Ski Resort. The Swiss Farm Inn, just north of Pittsfield. Great food and people flock from miles around for their breakfast. 802-746-8341 (Reserve early) The Country Butcher (in the center of Pittsfield village) has a nice feature; you can call 802-746-8113 the day before and order a box lunch that can be picked up after 7 AM. I guarantee it will be better and cheaper than ski area food. If motels are your thing, then you might want to stay at the “Clear River Inn & Tavern” just south of Pittsfield.
