2008 Hochgebirge Challenge Cup
Don’t forget that the Hochgebirge Cup
at Cannon is right around the corner! We are racing slalom on Gary’s on January 12,
not the last weekend in February as per usual. What will be predictable
is a large number of skiers hucking themselves down the sidehill pitch in
front of Ernies to try to gain glory for themselves and their teams.
Team entries (as usual) will be collected that morning, still $20 for a team
of four. Best three racers count in the attempt to attain immortality
and be listed on the Hochgebirge Challenge Cup.
The Club will not be hosting dinner at
the house this year, the schedule change precludes that, but stay tuned for
an after race meeting place to be announced. Questions…call Derek
