FIS Masters equipment rule changes:
After a lot of lobbying by USSA, FIS Masters has changed its equipment rules to the following.
1. The present specifications for the length and radius of skis are changed to be recommendations (Exception: The ski length in super G may not be less than 185 cm (men) and 180 cm (ladies).
2. Rules concerning the maximum height of ski/plates are recommended. The heights are reduced as follows: The key word is recommended.
maximum distance from bottom to bootsole: 50mm
maximum from boot sole to base of foot: 45mm.

Mt. Hood July 20-22 Summer Fun Nationals
