| Nikki Goulet to cycle across the United States to support cancer research Hi Bob, I don't know if you remember me, but I raced last season in Master's. I am now going to medical school in CT and am just about to finish my first year here (hence why you have not seen me on the hill this year). This summer I will be cycling across the United States with five other students to raise money for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research. We are riding in support of Lea’s Foundation, a non-profit charity established in 1998 to honor the life and final wishes of Lea Economos, a young woman who died of leukemia at age twenty-eight. The Foundation is dedicated to improving the treatment of these cancers and enhancing quality of life for the patients who suffer from them. We will be leaving on June 10th and will ride over 4,000 miles in an eight week period. I was wondering if it would be possible to spread the word to Master's racers by posting something on the website? Our website is www.leasfoundation.org and we will be updating it throughout the summer with pictures and blogs as we cross the country. Please let me know if this is possible. We would really appreciate it and I would love for some of the racers who I have not talked to in awhile to know what I am doing this summer. Thank you for your help Nikki Goulet
