Stowe Super-G Schuss

      The Mt. Mansfield Ski Club and the Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy are holding the 10th annual Stowe Super-G Schuss AND Super Combined this year Friday, January 18 at Stowe.

The event is a fundraiser for the club and the Academy.
     The event includes training runs in the morning, a race run of Super-G and, after lunch, one run of slalom. Awards are presented for the Super-G winners by age class and for the Super Combined winners.
     On the Super-G: This successful citizens' speed event runs the length of the Sunny Spruce Quad, with finish times of around one minute and speeds in excess of 55 mph. It's a great Super-G track for all ages.

     The running order is by age and by order that entries are received.  You can also register on race day.
     Registration will be 7:30-9 a.m. at the MMSC clubhouse.
    

 Fees: $50 for both events, including lift ticket for Spruce only.

$30 for juniors, both events, $25 for juniors Super-G only.
     Training runs: 9:30-10:45 a.m.
     Super-G start: 11 a.m.
     Slalom start: 1:30 p.m. (or sooner, time permitting)
     Awards Party at the Town and Country 4 p.m.
